I've been wanting to form a group for the Teen Hams in Malaysia since ages ago. Anybody willing to team up with me and make it happen? :-D

Fundamentals.

A rhetorical question for you guys there.

Up with the basics. Introductions! Some of the readers out there might not know what on earth is this Amateur Radio that have been going on for some decades now. So, what is it?

You'll probably get a different answer for every hams you ask because everybody is well, pretty much different. Obviously. To me, it's an epic discovery of a very interesting hobby that appeals differently to every single individuals. You'll be able to talk to your mates over the radio waves using a HT (hand-held transceiver), participating in competitions with other hams, communicating digitally to share personal texts or information in an emergency or even just to have a chat with other hams anywhere in the world. And there's pretty much more than 4938497 other reasons out there. You will get a chance to share a helluva loads of things just by using radio waves. How rad is that?

But, to make this a reality. You'll just have to go over some rules and basics for the Radio Amateur Exam. And then bam! You're in! ..If you manage to pass the exam that is. But then, if you don't there's always another time.

Stay tuned! 'Cos its already passed midnight and I think I should be in bed by now.

The things we like.

Excuse the irrelevant images.

I've been a legit dork that haven't been posting anything in this wonder blog for decades. Over and done with PMR, hell yeah. Looking forward for the results that are gonna haunt us 94s on Tuesday. Not really, but I have to act as if I am. + I'm sorry. Things have just gotten out of hand lately 'bout me-- not caring about the fact that I'm actually 9W20MG. But hey, don't worry. I'll be back and rocking the stations up. As if. I don't even have the guts to say a word. I'm a shy person like that. Or probably, I'll go on air after my sister, Asma and her friend, Nurul get the license that they've been waiting for over 2 years. Well, hopefully. Finger cross! While those awaits.. I think I'm just gonna go and enjoy my school holidays till it ends. 3 weeks left before the nightmare begins.

+ I've updated my My Callsign Network. Apologies for keeping all the friend requests waiting.

When she returns..

Wow. Can't believe how long I've been abandoning this blog and the Radio Amateur world. Let me see, about 5 months-ish? Like the past few months.. I haven't been using my Kenwood TH-F7E. Hope its still alive after living on my desk untouched for months and months of not switching it on. PMR is currently conquering my life right now. That's partly the main reason for the long absensee. Plus.. the fact that I've lost a bit interest in Radio Amateur. If only I have a few teen friends along with me to recon the Radio Amateur fanatic heat back up.

So, the teen hams out there.. holla me!

I bet I'm boring you to sleep now cos I am. Moving on.. before I forget,

SELAMAT HARI RAYA
MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN

I think it's a wee bit too late for the wish.. But then, its the thought that counts, yes? This year's Eid was a bit down. No ideaz why. That will remain a mystery.

Mhm.. I have no other shizz to share with you readers. Cos my brain is completely blank right this second. I just had my breakfast and my brain doesn't really co-operate with my brain on a full stomach. Okay, lies. I'm just out of ideaz!

PMR is in 2 weeks and I think, I'll be dead faster than you can say "Aisyah iz dead".

73! Au revoir!

Laziness conquers all.

I haven't blogged anything here for ages. Well, in fact, I have nothing good to blog about. I mean, I haven't "push" the trigger for a quite sometime already. My handy had been collecting dust ever since last month. This happens due to my laziness and the fact that I am shy. Okay, that's just well sad innit. So yeah. I've got nobody to talk with anyways. Hmmmmphhhhh.

Your questions, I have answered.

A couple of people had been asking me. Why on earth did I choose the callsign 9W2OMG. So now, I'll pretty much explain it in like a whole paragraph. LOL. I sounded tad geek-ish. So, here we go.. I've been wanting a callsign that actually has something to do with my name. Well, something along the line. But, I was unlucky and didn't grab hold of any of them that I wanted. So, I chose 9W2OMG because I practically use the abbreviation OMG nearly everyday of my life, which stands for Oh My God/Gosh. Yes, it sounds very cliche-ish. There it is. The explanation of why I chose 9W2OMG, which is rather not that impressive nor interesting. Heh, this sucks.

écouter!

Ah. Good grief! I've been approving all the friend request on MY Callsign Network for the past 5 minutes. Anyways, I'm currently having my first exam in school which is a total bore. Like, bore-bore-boredom. So, I'll be accompanied by my books till 110309. I guess.

And I have been craving for Lencana Maju! ..ever since I received my Lencana Usaha which was way back since early last year. (If I'm not mistaken) Sadly, my school's scout for the morning session is not that active and hardly does any camps and awesome activities. Which is pretty much sad. Let me see, there's about less than 20 students that usually attend the scouts meetings. So, what could we do with these 20 active students? Hardly nothing. I want to be back in the afternoon session. You could see a hell-lot of difference on the scouts between these 2 sessions. I guess, it's not my lucky year, is it? HELP?!

And I have nothing avid left to type.

KTHXBYE.

9W2OMG on air!

Hi. The names Aisyah. I go with the callsign 9W2OMG and hails from Bkt Rahman Putra, Shah Alam, Selangor! An ultimate newbie in the amateur radio world. So, guidance from you lot would be appreciated and loved. I was a bit surprised though that I passed last year's RAE. Kudos goes to my dad for teaching and getting me ready for the RAE and same goes to the dear Internetz! So, I received my license last week and was pretty happy with the callsign I've chosen. :-)

Last weekend, I traveled all the way to the South coast aka Singapore to grab a handy. I came home with a Kenwood TH-F7E. I ripped my dad's money right off. Lovely features it has. Includes dual monitoring, it is a dual band HT and a scanner that could receive SSB. And I've tried being on air with it once. Only once. I might be too shy to transmit whatsoever. So, when I'm ready, I might hog the frequency. But then, PMR is coming up and I'll be accompanying most of my time with my darling books.
